Mrs Diane Gare

Mrs Diane Gare, Headteacher.

I have been headteacher here since January 1998 and still enjoy it!

Binfield is a very supportive village with a strong community spirit which permeates through the school.

Suzie Wright

Suzie Wright, Deputy Headteacher

Hello!  I am Suzie Wright and I have been the Deputy Head here since September 2002.

I have responsibility for many areas including:  Assessment; CPD/INSET; Timetabling; PPA and supply cover; Staff Induction; Work experience student placements/Student teacher placements and much more!  Most importantly, I support the Headteacher in the day to day running of the school which involves activities too numerous to list!

Needless to say, I am kept very busy but you'll usually spot me smiling (I hope!) as I move around the school.  At the moment, I am a non-class based teacher and teach the equivalent of three days per week taking classes right across the school to release teachers as part of PPA time.  The remaining two days are used for Deputy Head duties.

Jill Hanson

Jill Hanson, Literacy co-ordinator and Key Stage 1 Co-ordinator.

I am a member of the Senior Management Team and teach in Year 2.

I have worked at Binfield since the school opened in September 1988.  The school has always had a real sense of community and we have close links with the church.

I have always had a particular interest in children's writing and we are produced a CD package to help other schools inspire their children to write and improve writing standards.

I am a leading literacy teacher for Bracknell Forest LEA.

Mrs Karen Vive

Mrs Karen Vive.

I have been working at Binfield for almost 7 years; predominantly in Years 5 and 6 - although I have taught from years 1-6 during my career.

I am the RE co-ordinator, EAL co-ordinator and Key Stage 2 co-ordinator. I am a member of the schools senior management team and a leading literacy teacher for Bracknell forest LEA. For those who do not know me I am the dervish who dashes past you, always late for where I am supposed to be.

Mrs Jo Buttle

Mrs Jo Buttle

I joined Binfield Primary School in September 2005 and the time has flown by!  I am Assistant Head, leading Lower KS2.

At present I teach Year 3 but I have enjoyed teaching all KS2 year groups in my career.

I am the link teacher for the School Council which is a super opportunity to discuss issues and help develop ideas that are most important to the children.

I am the subject leader for RE which has always been a special interest of mine, along with Thinking Skills.
